Website requests and search tools

Your browser sends technical information needed to request pages, such as your IP address, browser information, requested address and time. Hosting systems may record requests for operation, security and troubleshooting. Search terms and website addresses submitted to our tools appear in the request URL and may therefore appear in browser history and server logs.

The checker compares the supplied address with a local copy of official records. It does not visit the submitted website. Do not enter personal, banking or account information into a search field.

Cookies and third-party services

The website does not set cookies, use browser storage, run advertising or analytics scripts, or embed third-party fonts or media. You do not need an account to use it.

Following an external source link takes you to another organisation’s website, which has its own privacy practices. Selecting an email link opens your email service; it does not submit a form on this website.

Editorial email and purposes

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use correspondence to answer enquiries, investigate corrections and deal with privacy requests. Necessary operation, security and editorial correspondence are based on our legitimate interests in providing and maintaining this information service; legal obligations may also apply to particular requests.

Service providers supporting hosting or email may process information needed for those functions. We do not sell enquiry information or use it to profile readers for betting offers.

Retention and your choices

Information is retained only while needed for its purpose, including resolving an enquiry, maintaining a necessary correction record, protecting the service or meeting applicable legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the information and the issue.

You can ask for access, correction, erasure or restriction of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Portability applies where its legal conditions are met. Some rights depend on the circumstances and applicable exceptions.

Contact and complaints

Email [email protected] to raise a privacy question or exercise your rights. We may need proportionate information to verify the request. GDPR generally requires a response within one month, subject to its permitted extensions.

You may complain to a competent data-protection authority. In Poland, the President of UODO provides information on your rights and how to complain. This notice was last changed on 29 September 2026.
